Sugar Factory Tampa will be located at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at 5223 Orient Road, Tampa, FL 33610. Sugar Factory American Brasserie will be open weekdays from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. and weekends from 11a.m. – 1a.m. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served daily and brunch will be available on Saturdays and Sundays. Sugar Factory Tampa will be located on the Mezzanine level of the casino, overlooking the grand entrance, within the newly opened hotel and casino. The 120-seat full-service restaurant will feature the brand’s signature confectionary, which boasts a 4,000-square-foot, floor-to-ceiling candy wall with over 500 types of candy, including a selection of bulk and novelty candy like the world-famous Couture Pops. Complementing the candy, the café will also offer coffees, hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, homemade specialty rainbow doughnuts and pastries in addition to homemade gelato and ice cream.

Alexandra was absolutely fantastic. We had her 3 weeks ago and had an awesome experience. The rainbow sliders were a bit undercooked but otherwise it was fantastic

When it opened, the environment had potential, but like many other places, this restaurant has not kept up with its interior. To protect their flower display, they screwed plexiglass over the whole wall, but it was not fitted properly and was popping out over the table, exposing a large amount of dust. In a few different spots, you can see where someone spread chemicals to clean but left the spray and food on the wall above the table you eat on. While the physical appearance was very worn and dingy, the food was the same quality. The sesame chicken stir fry tasted as if the chicken was frozen and then microwaved, dry, chewy, and stringy. Quality does not even come close to the prices they charge. With all this, two patrons had a loud and boisterous altercation. The restaurant did nothing other than call for hard rock security. We were there to celebrate a last-minute dinner celebration for my husband's 30th. Still, instead, we had to watch an aggressive verbal altercation, which had a man yelling for them to “get security before I handled it my damn f***ins self because you have a damn White woman doing nothing.” After the altercation calmed down and people stopped yelling, the restaurant waited about 10 minutes and began to blare the music so loud you couldn't hear the person next to you. I left a nice tip for our waiter because everyone needs help and he can't control how the restaurant is run. We will never go back or recommend this place again! It's run down and needs to be replaced.

Server was very upbeat and attentive but that was the best part of our dinner. Had the Caprese salad and the mozzarella was hard, the artichoke dip had no flavor and looked like mush. For the main course had the 12oz ribeye and the fish and chips. Wife loved the fish but the chips was a large basket of shoe string fries. Order my steak med-rare and it came out well done and thin. Had a better steak for a cheaper price elsewhere

Food tasted great. Way too many options to choose from. You need to sift through the menu prior to coming. We waited almost an hour for our food and they forgot our appetizer. Ended up taking that off and never getting. Waitress was awesome. She just had to much on her plate that caused her from checking in on the food. Overall, a one time okay experience, but may not go back.

We have gone to the sugar factory before and we loved our experience dining there. However this time around it was very unpleasant. Our waiter took a prolonged time to even come take our drinks or even check on us or let us know they where behind. Communication would’ve been so helpful here like we are all humans and the place was so over packed and crowded we couldn’t hear one another talk. When we finally got around to ordering a drink and one appetizer we had already been seat for over 40 mins. Mind you we did not say anything and where just happy to get some water. Finally we got out drinks and the appetizer we where waiting over an hour and the waiter didnt even come back to ask us if we wanted to order the entree. We decided to just ask for the check and the irony was that actually arrived quickly. We paid a whole $65 bucks and I still left a tip because I get it poor waiter it wasn’t his fault he had so many tables just for himself alone. But we wont be coming back and i think maybe better person to waiter ratio would really benefit this place.

Truly I have gone here three years and a row for my birthday and it truly gets better and better. They made the birthday so fun and even my guest had fun. And it’s very rare for my guest to actually enjoy dinner. So thank you again and thank you for making every year a year to remember!

Absolutely love the sugar factory. The service is phenomenal and the food is super tasty. We enjoyed our huge drink with candy. We had a great time.

This was my first visit to The Sugar Factory and I think that it will be my last. The service was good. Overall the food was good but not great. The portions are large but lack flavor. The women at the table next to us wanted a scoop of ice cream with hot fudge but were told the scoop only comes with whipped cream. To get the hot fudge they were told to order the sundae which of course costs more. This is one reason that I didn’t order dessert. It’s mind-boggling that the restaurant could not accommodate a request for hot fudge. It seems that the restaurant prides itself of being over the top with regards to drinks and ice cream. But for a good meal, I think that I’ll go elsewhere.
