Sugo boasts a unique menu that blends family-style Italian, Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. Our beverage list features and extensive selections of wines, bottled beers and handmade cocktails.     We came in for the monthly cocktail class then stayed for dinner. Sugo is our favorite go-to for a nice evening out and has been for two decades. The food is always very good, the atmosphere enjoyable and the service excellent. The restaurant has monthly cocktail classes where the head bartender discusses different craft cocktails, balancing ingredients and how to assemble. It is fun and informative and leads right into a nice meal afterwards. We will be back!

    Great food and friendly service. There is are reason they have been operating successfully for years. Mr. C is always there to say hello, tell you about the food and ensure everything is done right. We had the bacon wrapped dates, beet salad and Aunt Lena’s chicken. Perfect to split with the wife. Sugo will continue to be one of my go to spots in Atlanta. And I’m a confirmed foodie:)

    Always super consistent and great service. Food is always amazing and so fast. Love seeing Mr. C and Mrs. C work the room - their passion and care for others is contagious! Best Italian restaurant in Georgia!

    Amazing birthday dinner! Loved the flatbread appetizer with fig! Incredible ravioli and fresh tomato sauce main dish. The restaurant was super loud and we had to yell to talk to each other, however, we went on a Saturday evening and they were packed full. Definitely get a reservation!! We were grateful we had one. Lastly, very nice birthday dessert of raspberry sorbet on a plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate! Amazing! Amazing!

    It’s been years since out last visit. Had a great dining experience. From the welcome to the dining service it was a very good night. Will definitely go back again soon.

    What's not to LOVE?! Greeted inside the front door by "Mr C" (The Patriarch of the family) ...followed by meeting our awesome waitress (Rebecca) who "lights up the room" with her personality. Next up? We start things off with a very unique and delicious Old Fashioned paired with the best flatbreads appetizer you will EVER have. After an enjoyable perusing of the entire menu we ended up deciding to have two fish entrees - my wife had the Branzino and I had the Salmon. OMG!!! BOTH WERE OUTSTANDING!! Just INCREDIBLY well conceived and presented. As ALWAYS, the salads were fresh, chilled perfectly and exploding with flavors. Finally, to top it all off ... we were surprised with a visit to our table by Executive Chef RICARDO SOTO who personally delivered us our ridiculously good dessert (Spumoni Bombas). Richard is obviously a brilliant culinary talent...and has a personality to match! He concluded our "date nite" out just perfectly..with his interesting, warm and friendly conversation. That was a rare and special treat. Geeze, when was the last time you had this happen to you in a restaurant? The owner greets you when you arrive and the Chef closes it out with a personal visit to your table. No surprise that our family has been enjoying SUGOS for decades!!! A family restaurant that really enjoys what they do..and it shows every time we visit.

    We had a nice dinner- I loved the salmon with artichokes. I thought they could definitely improve on the bread as the had some thin slices of bread in a basket that was uninspiring. The Ceasee salad is heavy on the anchovie flavor- but my husband loved it. The coffee was excellent, as was the service. It is fairly noisy.

Never hesitate to modify any dish to fit your preference. On a future visit, please ask for a quieter area to be seated. Although we are very fortunate to have many loyal guests who fill the dining rooms, we can be more selective if the request is made when making your reservation. Gratefully, Mrs C

    Wonderful food. Incredible service. Lately, we have been having challenges going to restaurants where the experience is inconsistent between visits but that was not the case here. It was such a treat to come back to a place where the food seemed even better than the last time. Very enjoyable!
