Today high above the hustle and bustle of North Orange County, like a crown on the hilltop, you will find built in the tradition of an English country manor the stately Summit House Restaurant.
The Summit House, renowned for its magnificent panoramic views and old-world charm, is famous for the amazing flavors and incredible food presentations created by Executive Chef Timothy Plumb’s culinary team. Highlights include our world-famous Stockyards of Chicago Roast Prime Ribs of Beef, “melt-in-your-mouth” oak wood grilled USDA prime steaks, our thirty-year favorite sautéed John Dory, locally grown vegetables hand-picked from neighboring Back Sheep Farms, and of course our famous creamed corn au gratin.
Whether it be an intimate get together for two or two hundred of your closest friends, come to the “Top of the Hill”, the Summit House Restaurant, "Your Special Occasion Place".

    Not one to normally Complain … was there a month ago and thought maybe it was a one off bad experience regarding prime rib and fish…tried again and it was horrible… the food was barely Warm, the portion of the $80’prime rib and extreme small and thin, I mentioned that it was for a birthday and nothing …the “no name” some kind of white fish was not good either… we literally Ate a few bites each and got the check.. for $200 dinner, I expected more…. I will never ever be back… huge disappointment

    Our first time dinning on a Holiday here did not disappoint. The food is always great but what really stands out is always the service. In these days, you pay more for good service and that’s fine when you add in the Summit House. From the valet, to the final check, it’s just great. Thank you guys!

    Given that it was Easter Sunday we expected that service would be slower but our server was very slow. As usual, the food was very delicious.

    Thank you for all your great customer service , the foods are So great delicious, sea bass & steak , desserts , mixing drink Martini are So Great ! Our group had an amazing time ~. Thank you P.S. Thank you~ Manger “Mark “ ~ you made our patios seating that we requested ! We love your patio seating , it was warmer with Heaters on also we got fresh air 🐣! We had a wonderful time for Eastern dinner !‼️

    Noah our server amazing!! Celebrating my husband’s BD We were seated, skipped starter, saved room for cheesecake. Husband ordered the Castle cut prime rib “ medium” hoppy beer delicious. I ordered 10-oz Filet mignon cook “ Medium” warm pink all the way through. Sadly our dinner arrived within minutes before our bread and butter wow disappointing. My filet was cooked Medium well and dry! Zero pink,. I should have sent it back. Chef please slow down . Thank you Noah for making Wayne’s Birthday special.

    John Dory was lovely, lobster bisque very tasty. First time they’ve added sliced green onions on top of the bisque–not sure that was an enhancement. The creamed corn was excellent, as always. Service attentive but not obtrusive.

    Fabulous service and great food. It was for a friend’s birthday. We all enjoyed our meal and service. Dinner was at 5 pm. So the restaurant wasn’t noisy.
