Sunbridge Lounge is a rustic, family run Tapas bar set in the upper levels of the newly developed Sunbridge Wells Tunnel complex. Only 5 minutes from Broadway and Alhambra theatre, we are the perfect destination for fresh food in Bradford. Upon entering our restaurant you are greeted by the open plan kitchen, where you can see our chefs hard at work. The jenga-style oak bar is a dominating feature and provides a great selection of craft beers, wines and quirky cocktails. Our award winning menu comprises of Tapas, loaded halloumi and small plates from around the world, utilising fresh produce from the local markets to ensure the best quality. We are fully adaptable to all allergens and we are more than happy to accommodate food requests as we make everything from scratch. We have plenty of gluten free and vegetarian choices available and we have a lunch time deal every day of selected 3 for £12 tapas. And when you are done, there are 6 other themed bars in the complex for you

Well what can I say. Booked a table here weeks ago for a pre theatre dinner. We arrived to find the place in darkness & locked up. Spoke to a security type guy who told us it was closed for refurbishment. Why would they accept our booking knowing full well it would be closed on our dates... unbelievable. Really hope that if and when they re open after refurb that they look after their customers much better than us. We ended up wandering round the city to find somewhere to eat. At least we could rely on Zizzi.

Just found it a little bit deep fried and the dishes weren't overly tasty . The lighting is a little bright too I think it might be better if it's a big dimmer. The space wasn't great either between where i was sitting and the next table we had to keep moving for waitress to get past.

I have never been disappointed when eating here. The place is quirky and the staff are friendly. Food is excellent. If you haven't been yet you are missing something special.

Always great for a catch up and a bite to eat. Good Tapas and beer. Cocktails on offer too. A bit rustic so not somewhere to settle for the night but well worth a visit. Great for pre theatre. Book beforehand though. It’s a small bar and I saw several people disappointed. Looking forward to our next trip .

We visited at 7pm on a Saturday. The Lounge was quiet when we arrived but got busier shortly after. We opted for 6 dishes between the two of us. The scallops & tuna were cooked to perfection and the flavours worked really well. The goats cheese is beautifully creamy and combines well with the jam; of note it is a good size portion so it may be one to share unless you particularly love goats cheese. We also enjoyed the steak & chorizo, sweet potato bhajis and loaded halloumi fries (bacon & maple). All were well-cooked (good crispness on the bhajis) and very tasty. Service was excellent throughout.

A great casual evening with friends - delicious and plentiful food, great service, quirky ambience in the Sunbridge Wells tunnels - thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend

Once we had found the restaurant (not well signed) the greeting was good service was fast and friendly with a good mix of dishes

We were the only ones in the restaurant which we thought odd for a Saturday evening at 7:30 so there was no atmosphere. The weather was monsoon style which didn't help matters. One of the waitresses was very friendly and helpful, the other did not appear to have much knowledge of craft beers and seemed overly keen to take our order. I was underwhelmed which was a shame as I had looked forward to attending as we had to cancel last time.

We decided to visit as we'd been before and it offers a good range of choices on the menu. We booked for 8pm and it was reasonably busy when we arrived. We chose 6 dishes between two of us plus bread (essential for dipping up any sauces), which was enough to fill us without feeling uncomfortable. We'd recommend the goats cheese, eggs flamenco, mexican chicken and basil and mozzarella bon-bons. Service was very good throughout.
