Since its opening in 1974, prime steaks and martinis have never gone out of style at this Palo Alto institution. The atmosphere is very clubby with fireplaces, dark wood, sports memorabilia and plush leather booths tucked into the many nooks throughout the dining room. Famous for their slow-roasted prime rib & hand-cut U.S.D.A Prime Steaks, they also offer fresh seafood, cold water lobster tail & succulent shellfish. The 20 oz. Bone-In Rib eye Steak is the Boss’ Favorite while the Double Cut Filet Mignon runs a close second. We had lunch at Sundance, I usually eat dinner. There’s definitely more parking. I ordered the Seabass special, which was really excellent . The other diner had prime rib, which is also quite good. We made a couple of changes to the usual order and that was accommodated. A shout out to our server, Allan A who was very good and very, very friendly. Great choice for lunch or dinner..請問這對你有幫助嗎？

Was there for a very special anniversary dinner. Originally was taken to a table crowded between many other tables and a very noisy part of the restaurant. I was surprised a table was placed there because it was not easy to walk between the tables to get to this table. The hostess saw our shocked faces for the table and quickly took us to another table in a quieter part of the restaurant where a there was no worry of backing a chair into another party. I was looking forward to dine at this renowned restaurant in Palo Alto only to be disappointed by average food and a very limited menu. The restaurant has a mix of nostalgia and personal stories that make it very interesting and inviting. The food was nothing to talk about or a reason to go back. Tasteless appetisers a lot of broccoli and carrots as part of your entree and a few other dishes that were not appealing. The restaurant is expensive, I wish the food would do justice to the expectations.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

Besides the food being five stars, the service is excellent, the ambiance exceptional, and the vibe extraordinary. Sundance the Steakhouse has been in operation for decades and their longevity is a tribute to the great quality that it offers.
