Since its opening in 1974, prime steaks and martinis have never gone out of style at this Palo Alto institution. The atmosphere is very clubby with fireplaces, dark wood, sports memorabilia and plush leather booths tucked into the many nooks throughout the dining room. Famous for their slow-roasted prime rib & hand-cut U.S.D.A Prime Steaks, they also offer fresh seafood, cold water lobster tail & succulent shellfish. The 20 oz. Bone-In Rib eye Steak is the Boss’ Favorite while the Double Cut Filet Mignon runs a close second. Sundance is respected for serving the best food money can buy coupled with value & simplicity – a welcome relief for serious food & steak aficionados. We have been to Sundance many times over the past 2 decades, it’s always been one of our favorites. Unfortunately this time was different, we were seated 30 mins late, they were very apologetic. We ordered 2 soups and a salad and 3 entrees, 2 steaks and 1 pasta. The soups came out and were told the salad was on its way, then we were told our entrees were ready without the salad being served. We passed on the salad to get our entrees. One steak was perfect, the other was very overcooked and couldn’t be eaten. We were offered a substitute, but not something we wanted. We ended up sharing the 1 steak and left full. Bottom line service was good, was not the waiters fault, but due to the holiday I think the kitchen was overwhelmed. Not sure we will go back as the last time we went there seemed to be the same issues and it was a different time of year.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

We had a fabulous dinner last night and the food is simply wonderful and the service was spectacular. Of course it’s fairly expensive but I think it’s worth every penny. I will definitely be going there again in the future.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

Food was great as always. I recommend the wedge salad -- no one does it better than Sundance. The service was a little choppy -- I think that our waiter, however cordial, was stretched too thin.請問這對你有幫助嗎？
