Since its opening in 1974, prime steaks and martinis have never gone out of style at this Palo Alto institution. The atmosphere is very clubby with fireplaces, dark wood, sports memorabilia and plush leather booths tucked into the many nooks throughout the dining room. Famous for their slow-roasted prime rib & hand-cut U.S.D.A Prime Steaks, they also offer fresh seafood, cold water lobster tail & succulent shellfish. The 20 oz. Bone-In Rib eye Steak is the Boss’ Favorite while the Double Cut Filet Mignon runs a close second. Had a reservation the day after valentines day. Busy, but great ambiance. Food is fantastic. Steaks came out juicy and very flavorful. Service was top notch even with the chaos of the busy night. Visited on V-day 2025 one day ahead. Semi-regular guest but pouring rain so expected more no-shows. Not at Sundance. Overall service was impeccable and especially our table service by Jeff. He's a veteran there and extremely knowledgable of the menu and wines including how dishes are cooked and his recommendations, after thoughtful discussion, were perfect. have experienced similar table service in the past. Bone-in rib eye was absolutely phenomenal and just slightly more so than the prime rib. We split the caesar salad which was a perfect size. Good choices for accompaniments including baked potato, mushies, etc. We don't remember the enjoyable special cocktails and wines by the glass but they all matched well! Always great slow cooked steak with medium rare. This time, I looked rare. Wine condition was not good because Zin bottle (Turley) was a little bit sour and strong tannin. You should try to do decanting when you feel it during the tasting.請問這對你有幫助嗎？
