Chef Stacé of Sunflower Café is keeping the tastes of France in Bayport, serving authentic French Cuisine with fragrant and farm fresh ingredients. Enjoy an absolutely delicious selection of French classics like Moules Frites, Clams Casino, French Onion Soup, and our signature homemade Quiches. On Sunday you can look forward to an early dinner of Escargot, Oysters Rockefeller, Frog Legs, Rack of Lamb, succulent Roasted Duck L'Orange, or a juicy Steak Au Poivre. Loved this restaurant. Saw a picture of their French Onion soup in a Magazine and I knew I had to try it. We want for lunch and besides the soup I had the Turkey sandwich which was delicious. Will definitely go back for dinner since I loved the menu.

We had a phenomenal experience. Everything was delicious. We weren’t rushed at all. The time between courses was perfectly spaced. Our waitress was, knowledge, attentive, available, but never overbearing or intrusive, and most importantly a lovely person. We left happy and excited to plan our next visit.

This cafe- actually more of an upscale Bistro-was fabulous! Each dish was made with care. Oysters on the half shell were plump and fresh.Best onion soup this side of France-thin onions in a broth w flavor, not your daily helping of salt. Mussels were in a perfect sauce, escargot was wonderful, The lobster was tender- cooked to perfection. Claves liver got raves as did the bouillabaisse. The cassoulet was fabulous in a light herb broth. Don’t miss the wonderful light & crusty bread. Great service- efficient & friendly. Desserts made w such care & not too much sugar. Passion fruit martini was excellent. Our new favorite place.
