Chef Stacé of Sunflower Café is keeping the tastes of France in Bayport, serving authentic French Cuisine with fragrant and farm fresh ingredients. Enjoy an absolutely delicious selection of French classics like Moules Frites, Clams Casino, French Onion Soup, and our signature homemade Quiches. On Sunday you can look forward to an early dinner of Escargot, Oysters Rockefeller, Frog Legs, Rack of Lamb, succulent Roasted Duck L'Orange, or a juicy Steak Au Poivre. Food and drinks are excellent. It was really crowded because it was Valentine’s Day that being said the noise level was still low. The staff is great! Very nice people all around. Highly recommended

From start to finish, our experience at the Sunflower Cafe' was surprisingly satisfying. We were greeted with a smile and seated right on time. The Valentine's day menu was full of delicious choices. Cathy had the filet of sole meuniere, which she said tasted very fresh. I had the cassoulet, which was a HUGE stew with beans, spicy sausage, ham and duck leg confit. For dessert, we shared a scoop of vanilla ice cream drenched in an espresso shot. We even took home a slice of flourless chocolate cake which was still fresh the next day. This was our first time there, but definitely won't be our last!

Loved this restaurant. Saw a picture of their French Onion soup in a Magazine and I knew I had to try it. We want for lunch and besides the soup I had the Turkey sandwich which was delicious. Will definitely go back for dinner since I loved the menu.
