    This location is not consistent with the awesome experience and food I enjoyed in original locations in Southern CA and also Las Vegas since this restaurant group started. Maybe there’s been few oversights been done to ensure same quality and experience. I had a reservation for indoor but they only had tall dining table or sushi bar seating. Again, could have easily notify customer who reserved indoor seating ahead of time or allow reservation to pick different indoor seating. There were 4 tables of 4 open but they sat us instead on the happy hour bar table. Service was just ok with server not greeting until we sat for more than 10 minutes. Asked if we’ve been there but didn’t explain nor ask what we would like to drink. Food is good, not great with sauces mix different from one nigiri to another for the same fish. Also their Izakaya Feast offering on main menu says favorites from all items in menu but turns out they bring out another menu which is just an another fixed prix menu with no choice. Very misleading in my opinion.

    Took too long to get food served. Some at our table were served and other were waiting for 20+ mins. Food was good though.

    The food has always was awesome… We waited an hour and 10 minutes for our table after our reservation time which was fine. They bought us drinks and sent a few appetizers so I was appreciative of that then our waiter disappeared for 30 minutes to go talk to some other guy at the bar, which was very odd. Still love this place. I still give everything a five stars. This one experience was not the best we’ve ever had, though.

    Bad service. Even though we specifically reserved for “Standard” seat for our dinner, they put us outside and we were cold the entire time. They explained Standard means both inside and outside, but there is a separate line for “Outdoor” when making a reservation on Opentable, which I did not select. They said they would move us to the table next to us that was empty and closer to heater but never did. Food is pretty good but definitely overpriced.

    Love the food, our server was EXCELLENT and super caring and helpful for my mother, who was struggling through a diabetic episode. Only downside is it is a really tough restaurant to have conversation in. Very loud! But still love it.
