Meh.. definitely not a dinner spot. More like a quick lunch place. Food was fine but nothing special. Service was poor, a bunch of young kids who didn’t really care. Won’t be back anytime soon

The service was terrible. We had to flag down a different server to take our order. Not a single server asked about food allergies and someone in our party has a gluten intolerance and consumed gluten and got sick since the menu didn’t clear state there was gluten in the “sweet soy”. Not until our food was delivered did our server mention there could be gluten in a dish but made it sound like a possibly of cross contamination rather than gluten being in the item. We waited for an extended amount of time for our food and the check. We had one round of sushi orders and were there for almost 2 hours. I would never recommend this place to anyone because the service was so bad which is unfortunate because the food itself was good.

We’ve dined here many times and always enjoy the delicious sushi and sashimi. The hamachi jalapeño was particularly delicious tonight

I have heard over and over how good Sushi Sassa is from Slacker from Slacker and Steve show Alice 1059. Maybe the kitchen was off or different chefs but it was not up to par like Slacker says it was. Kitchen was low on oysters so I could not order all the dishes that I wanted. One of the spicy tuna dishes was very FISHY. I could not order the Spyder Roll that Slacker speaks of. The waiter was VERY attentive. He was a younger bald fella. KUDOS to him!!! You might want to get new window sign / stckers / decals as SUSHI SASSA was VERY hard to see. It is VERY faded. Sushi Den sill remains supreme. Next up is Matsuhisu.

Loved it as always. Quiet atmosphere, great food, knowledgeable servers. Don’t miss their free parking making going there even easier!

The staff was so gracious from the moment we walked in - they opened up the downstairs bar area for us to have a drink while we waited for the rest of our party then sat us all together in the beautiful dining room upstairs for incredible food & drinks! Sushi was great, HIGHLY recommend the fried rice to share.
