Ordered premium Omakase for 2. $500 plus tip plus drinks. All together about $700. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT. Don’t get me wrong, the place is OK for casual sushi roll but they should not be offering any kind of premium service. The space is outdated, the ambiance is that of a take out sushi place, largely because of the coming and goings of Uber eats drivers. The Owner goes out of his way to display his past accolades on the wall, ALL OF WICH ARE FROM 2014 - 17, and frankly they are all from Sun Santinel which no one reads. Sushigo has not been on anyone’s go to list since then. But hey if you give them a 5 star review you get a free Mochi ice cream ( that’s what a tacky flyer states next to every table). The food was ok at best. Fish was fresh but the taste was lost in all the fatty sauces. The lobster miso soup, was regular miso with dabs of lobster thrown in it, not a miso soup made with lobster, there is a difference. The most disappointing was the IMITATION CARB ROLL, honestly why bother? If it wasn’t served the Omakase would have been better. The service was friendly but Sooooo slow. Cherry on top was a frozen, premade, green tea cheese cake - the microwave didn’t quite defrost it. AGAIN, for a quick bite the place is ok, but not for a $700 service.
