Formerly in Queens, our restaurant created a space for people to eat, drink, celebrate, and experience Eastern European cuisine. Now in the West Village, we aim to bring our community together for a meal that makes you feel at home. Sveta is new, but also homey and modern. Walk in for a beer or a quick bite, or bring a party of 60 and dance until midnight.

Family style European/Ukrainian cuisine with a Portuguese influence. Join us to celebrate, love life and family.

On weekends groups of more than 7 its a minimum of $60 per person. Come & Stop By to be parry of the Sveta Family

Really good food. We sat dawn when we got there and they brought us water quickly. 15 minutes later we had to ask 2x for our waiter to order drinks and our food. The credit card machine was down so we had to pay cash. That said, the people were very nice and the food was very good!

Abbiamo atteso oltre 40 minuti dall’ordinazione per i nostri piatti, mentre le persone che ordinavano dopo di noi già mangiavano. Nessuna scusa da parte del personale e applicato 20% di mancia senza possibilità di replica, cibo mediocre e con poco sapore. Conto molto salato! Andate altrove.

We arrived an hour early accidentally. Was extremely busy but they made a spot for us to sit and accommodated us as soon as was possible. Even gave us champagne complimentary as we waited. Food and drinks were outstanding! Highly recommend! 👏🏼

Beautiful decorations are the only positive about this restaurant and experience. Food is poorly seasoned, our roasted bone marrow appetizer was pale with no flavor. Service is a complete afterthought, no one ever checked if we needed anything else, no water refill, no offer for a second drink or coffee/desserts. $300 for 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 main courses with no dessert or coffee is high even by nyc standards. This place depends on people wanting an Instagram/TikTok experience and seems that they don’t want or care if customers ever return for a second time.
