The Swan bar, restaurant & private dining rooms are located at Shakespeare's Globe on Bankside and have stunning River Thames and central London views.

The bar offers relaxed all-day dining, sharing plates and British classics such as fish and chips, alongside craft beers, small-batch London gins and tonics, seasonal cocktails and English sparkling wines. Upstairs, the elegant restaurant with panoramic views offers seasonal British a la carte dining, fine wines, theatrical afternoon tea, weekend brunch and a quintessentially British Sunday roast.

Swan has stunning private dining rooms that are perfect for cocktail receptions, dinner parties, private celebrations, corporate events, wedding receptions & Christmas parties.     The booking was for 3pm and a large very loud table next to us still eating lunch made the afternoon underwhelming as couples sitting near us were offered quieter tables. The Classic afternoon tea was nice though.

    Went for the afternoon tea. Very well presented but obviously been left out for a bit as sandwiche bread was stale. Scone lovely and warm. Took a while to be seen for drinks and ordering, and to be cleared at the end.

    Great food as always and wonderful view. Good and prompt service though would have appreciated server letting us know if restaurant had policy of requiring us to order a main meal each or if it was ok for us to share, as we had small eaters in the group. We ended up getting a suggestion and feeling pressured to order a kids meal for our small eater, when we actually asked for clarification on meal sharing possibility. Oh well. The food and service were good overall, in any case ie. we would still recommend the restaurant and return if we are in the area again.

    We had a fantastic afternoon tea at the Swan London today! The view was fantastic, service amazing and food delicious! The themed tea was fun and the perfect follow up to a tour of the Globe in the morning. Highly recommend!

    I went for the afternoon tea and it is such an unforgettable experience. One of the managers Ries was friendly and attentive. And the food was delicious. Thank you for adding to a memorable holiday.

    Lovely views from the restaurant. Made the mistake of not realising the restaurant only served afternoon tea at the time we booked our table for! The afternoon tea we had was good and the children enjoyed it too.

    My wife and I were entertaining two of our teenage grandsons to afternoon tea as a holiday treat. We wanted them to appreciate the excellent quality of the Hansel & Gretal set tea - which we knew they would! - as well as enjoying the wonderful view of the river and the city-scape at nightfall. We, and our grandsons, were not disappointed. Excellent value for money and every bit the special occasion we wanted it to be.
