    Seated at a wonderful table outside on the balcony overlooking the square where a jazz band was playing and street entertainers were juggling, we were privileged to experience service that was impeccable and food that was sublime. Tableau was the highlight of our trip to New Orleans which included many highlights but none as special as this epicurean delight. We are returning with our family and Tableau will be at the top of our list of activities.

    Beautiful restaurant with lovely open courtyard. We enjoyed the dark roux of a great tasting gumbo. For our main courses we enjoyed the Almondine black drum fish with brown butter sauce. The pork belly BLT was delicious ! We finished with a chocolate torte and a mango sorbet. Very nice wine choices and non alcoholic beverages. Terra did an excellent service and provided great descriptions of the menu. Terra also gave an interesting overview of the historical information of the building.

    The food here is amazing, we loved it, it was just as good as the last time we visited new orleans. My personal favorite is the eggs tableau, its divine! My friends always love the shrimp and grits, and if you are sensitive to hot spice, get the sausage on the side. We have always been thrilled with the food and our experience at Tableau.
