   My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience here. The place is absolutely cozy and romantic. Our server Tiffany was great and very professional Now the food, the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and beautifully made. We got the homemade potato pancakes for our appetizer and oh my was it amazing! Definitely my favorite dish! My husband got the signature dumplings and I got the mussels and they were both so good and to end it we shared the cherry and blueberry dumplings and that was incredible! We couldn’t stop raving about the food. You could tell everything was fresh.  Hats off to the chef because honestly the food was incredible. We will definitely be coming back and bringing more people so they get to experience just how great this place is!

   This could be my go to eatery, the place is a gem, the staff wonderful, service is impeccable, it is warm ,cozy,live music that plays at perfect volume for the space. now the food , we ordered bake brie which was a delight , just warm enough not to run all over and accompanied by figs, pear,strawberries, and pine nuts all with a touch of honey, just a delight. next Mussels in a wonderful garlic,lemon sauce, accompanied by some toasted bread slice (for dunking that marvelous sauce up with) what fun. now the not so good news Salmon and shrimp skewers with potatoes, tomato, and lemon sauce, the shrimp, Salmon was so over cooked it was dry and chewy, 1 potato done well the other still hard, I don't mind paying , but I expect perfection in all my dishes. I recommend that you visit, the menu changes often and I will try again to LOVE this place from start to finish. you will not be disappointed with a visit for an overall enjoyable dinner

   This is the best restaurant. Dinner tonight was awesome. Serving food is a whole art. This is our fourth time here and every time we order a new dish. Everything is incredibly delicious, the unusual food combinations create an amazing flavor. I'm glad Hudson now has a place like this. We will be back again and again.

   Taiga was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend. It felt like playing restaurant with a child in an old grandmother’s parlor, but paying real adult money for disappointment. The impression the server and manager gave off was this was the first time they’ve worked at a restaurant. Orders did not come out together, let alone entrees were forgotten. Instead of acknowledging, hey this item is running late apologies, the server did not acknowledge that two of three entrees came out and before all the appetizers have been brought out. After confronting, the manager claimed that the entree was being cooked and delayed because they only serve things fresh. Well the short rib with carrot purée certainly didn’t feel fresh with the overly fatty cut of meat that required sawing with a knife to cut. To an unpleasant first bite of cold meat. This dish was not meant to be cold. To be fair, most of the food including the chefs signature dumplings were also mostly cold. As it was salmon dumplings swimming in cold sour cream. The taiga cocktail tasted like a concoction a child makes with juice and handfuls of foliage thrown into a glass. Just don’t.

At Taiga, we approach cooking with great care and attention, and our food is never served cold. We use only fresh ingredients and prepare each dish from scratch, which may take more time than in fast-food establishments. If you are used to fast service in the style of fast food, perhaps our restaurant is not the right fit for your preferences. We appreciate those who are willing to enjoy a true culinary experience rather than simply receiving food as quickly as possible. We hope you find a place that better suits your expectations.
