Tana is an upscale Italian restaurant drawing from local Chef Michael Gulotta's New Orleans Sicilian upbringing as well as his time training in the Liguria region of Italy.

Experience cocktails in our comfy lounge with jewel toned plush booths and ambient lighting. Dine in the classically Italian styled main room with wood beams or The Villa, which is light and airy with lots of natural light, as if you're dining al fresca on the Sicilian coast.

                                                      I had dinner with my husband at Tana for our last meal in NOLA. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. It is a bit expensive but worth the cost. Also it seemed to get kind of noisy once it was filling up with more guests and that didn’t compliment the ambiance in my opinion.

                                                      Everything was great. The only critique I have is the table where we were seated for a party of 4. We were very far across from each other for older people. A smaller 4 top would have been more accommodating.

                                                      I was born in New Orleans in 1957. I have been in every known restaurant in the city as well as United States and traveled many countries. I am Sicilian and I have been raised with great cooks in the family as well as myself and I can say without question Tana is the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten in my life and will continue to go there as I’m sure there will bemany more locations.

                                                      The meatballs and red sauce were heaven! Tart and the melty ricotta was so delicious. Our servers were attentive and professional- explained everything well. Great place and nice decor!

                                                      Our servers were excellent -friendly and funny! Food was delicious! We had the stuffed porkchops (our favorite), filet, pasta, octopus, and oysters.

                                                      We’ve been several times for dinner but today was the first time for brunch. It was quite excellent and our server was delightful. Everything was delicious and would love to see a few more items on the brunch menu. Will be back soon!

                                                      Great first experience. Staff very knowledgeable and on it! Food was a departure from the norm and delicious. We will go back often.
