   despite having a reservation, we waited over 15 minutes at check in and then it took a very long time for the chef to come out and start cooking. we witnessed a larger party table come in after us and they were served their food before us!

   I liked everything about Tanaka of Tokyo Central. Very nice setting and vibe. Beautifully orchestrated architecture, lighting, and overall ambience. Low light. Wait staff were excellent and friendly. Drinks were good, including a good selection of alcoholic and mocktails. While i always like a good show, and our chef did not disappoint, what was really impressive was the diverse offerings, quality, taste, and structure of food. We ordered the filet and shrimp meal set, and it was probably one of the better filets i have had. The shrimp were plump, crisp, and succulent. Another at our table had an A5 Wagyu steak, and it was good sized and looked amazing. Overall, a very festive and fun night with grwat food. Highly recommended.

   This is our third year in a row coming to one of the Tanaka locations. This year was a bit of a let down. Our chef Roel kept saying he “wished he had the other table”, because they spoke Japanese. His show was not very entertaining. I spent more time watching the other chef Seth. Maybe it was a bad night. Also, we looked forward to having our picture taken again for a memory, but no photographer. It was very expensive for the four of us and to get a mediocre experience. We won’t be in a hurry to go back. Too bad.

   2回目の来店でした。ハワイがディナーが高いと聞いていましたが、すごくコストパフォーマンスがよかったです！お肉もとても大きくて、たくさん歩いてお腹をすかせて行ったので食べ切ることができました。 パフォーマンスはとても上手で見ていて飽きません。お店の雰囲気もよくて、子供を連れて行っても気にならない、大人だけのグループでも会話が楽しめてとてもいいです。またハワイに行った時は食べに行きます。

    I love this restaurant. The food is high quality. The chefs are amazing. The service could use a little work. Our server seemed overwhelmed. Also I think the price of cocktails are high. For example their martini was $17 and it didn’t taste like it had more than an ounce of vodka.
