TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge offers a distinctive culinary experience in the most dramatic setting Mohegan Sun has to offer. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge’s beverage program pairs perfectly with approachable craft cocktails and extensive sake offerings. The new restaurant at Mohegan Sun is located off the Sky Tower Hotel Lobby and features several notable elements that Guests have come to expect from the iconic brand, including a 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring the main dining room.

We always love the food and usually have good service HOWEVER- tonight we were totally rushed to make our game cause service was slow and we were celebrating 2 Birthdays but never got to order our birthday dessert. Very disappointed tonight because we love the dessert platter!

I love dining here, the ambience is beautiful & the food was great. The music was great & upbeat but way too loud so you have to basically yell at the people you are dining with across the table.

We come here every year over cheer comp weekend and every year it’s better and better. The food is especially outstanding, but so is the service and overall ambiance. Pricey but you are paying for the all around experience- in my opinion totally worth it. Definitely the best at Mohegan. Enjoy!

We had a party of 8 and were seated in a back area up a step, it was perfect. The restaurant was packed, but we never had to deal with folks walking past our table. Recommendations from around the table... The smoking dragon bourbon cocktails presented beautifully and was very much enjoyed! Worth the $6 more than other cocktail options. Pork potstickers were flavorful, great portion on the Olive Fried Rice. Yakatori Lamb Chop was so tasty but pricey by the piece. The Tokyo Filet was well cooked, but stake house pricing for its portion. The Potted Carrot cake was simply a delight on the eyes, but needed more traditional carrot cake flavors. Chai Creme Brule was uniquely served. The Giant Fortune Cookie certainly was the show stopper with its generous size, filled with white and chocolate mousse, a side of mixed fruit brought the flavors together. This was also served with 'racy' fortunes for everyone at the table. There was DJ playing great nostalgic 90's music and kept us all grooving and eating happily. Our server, Tina and her team were great. Attentive, and accommodating from our party trickling in, to taking a group photo for us, and allowing us to pay with four separate credit cards (no check splitting). We never felt rushed in the packed restaurant. She was well versed in the menu and made great recommendations through out the meal. A $$$$ meal for sure, but well worth the splurge on occasion. Located near the Hotel and the waterfall, it allowed for us to take group photos as well.
