TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge offers a distinctive culinary experience in the most dramatic setting Mohegan Sun has to offer. Guests can choose from a selection of Asian-inspired specialties, focusing on Chinese, Japanese and Thai techniques and ingredients; including signature dishes like the Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster Wontons, Peking Duck, Crispy Snapper in “Sand,” and Tuna Sashimi Pringle. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge’s beverage program pairs perfectly with approachable craft cocktails and extensive sake offerings. The new restaurant at Mohegan Sun is located off the Sky Tower Hotel Lobby and features several notable elements that Guests have come to expect from the iconic brand, including a 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring the main dining room.

The pork belly appetizer is incredible. The filet mignon was tender and cooked perfectly. The shrimp is always excellent. The Shanghai fried rice is awesome as well. Our waitress was pretty perfect. She was there when we needed something.

Food was phenomenal and there was a DJ playing great music for New Year’s Eve. Overall excellent experience!

Fun for New Years! Food very good, although meats are ridiculously overpriced so stick with chicken and fish. Drinks were a little disappointing although the tequila passion fruit drink very good. Desert tray excellent. Pretty noisy place so be prepared. Fun. 7.5/10

Had Peking duck with fried rice and bok choy. Food was excellent. Food is always good. Dj plays great music. Not typical Asian cuisine. Make reservations early to get a table.

Had a wonderful time! Wonderful ambience, fun energy food was delicious. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend I’ve been to the one in New York City will happily attend again to any Tao location.

Had a lovely NYE dinner with my husband and 4month old. Food was incredible and the service was excellent. Thank you for accommodating us on our first date night as new parents. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We chose Taos for our first dinner out on the start of our honeymoon. It did not dissapoint. The staff was amazing, the food was deli and the atmosphere was beautiful. Hands down this made for an unforgettable first dinner as husband and wife.

Experience was good, only drawback I guess was that the lobster wontons came kind of cold , appreciated the server bringing out a fresh plate. The filet mignon was sort of small with no sides for $59, not sure about that. I think sides should be included or at least offered as it’s simply not enough of a dish to justify the price. Overall good experience though. Good for date night
