A 16-foot Buddha, which floats above a reflecting pool filled with Japanese carp, presides over the scene at Tao. A favorite destination for celebrities and athletes, this Pan Asian restaurant specializes in authentic Hong Kong Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisines. Tao has three levels of dining including the prized "Skybox" which offers views of this former movie theater unparalleled in New York. In addition to its 300 seats, Tao includes a sushi bar, lounge and two bars at which to enjoy the food and the show. Appetizers range from $8 - $18; Entrees: $16 -$39. Offering $31.50 Prix Fixe Lunch Menu year round.

    Tao Uptown never disappoints! Happy to have been served by Leo again. He always goes above and beyond. Fantastic service! The DJ was also on point! It was a perfect dinner!

    Great service from the host desk to bar staff to server and wait staff. No one missed a beat. Food was amazing & timed to perfection. Fabulous night out.

    Had a celebratory lunch yesterday. It was great. Always an awesome customer experience at Tao Uptown. I haven’t been in a while. It was good to go back and enjoy the food and the service.

    Outstanding from beginning to end. We quickly sat at our reservation time and service was impeccable. Helpful waitress and attentive staff. Food was all delicious and beautifully prepared. Very pleased and we’ll be back. Highly recommend.
