Wow this has got to be the worst service I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant. Firstly they sat us down at a table, we had a drink and then after 30 minutes they told us we needed to move and sit at the bar….? We didn’t mind, and moved. We then got told we need to cramp together more because they want to fit two more people in. Oh it gets worse as well…
Waited 30 minutes to be served a menu so we could order. The food took over an hour to come, they served my friends food and I had had nothing to eat. After constant complaining I eventually said at 1hr 20 in that they can leave it, it was too late for me to eat now.
The bartender then brought the bill, in which I asked him if he had taken the food off which he continued to shout arrogantly at me saying “what food” “it’s not on there I’ve already taken it off” - I was just checking… I then said to him to not speak to me like that, he got aggressive with me and ended up telling me to F*ck off and pay my bill, and threw the receipt on my table…..
I pulled him up for a 1 on 1 chat, it turns out he is also the manager!!! I could tell he was stressed as many other customers were kicking off but he should always remain professional. We all have difficult moments at work it’s how you react to them that counts. Being rude to customers isn’t it, if he had been apologetic and sincere I would maybe come back to this place and given it another go. I have never been swore at or had receipts thrown at me but there’s a first time for everything eh!
