Established in 2001, Tarallucci e Vino brings the ease and casual elegance of Italy's bars and "caffés" to New Yorkers and visitors.     The food here is out of this world. The server seemed new and didn’t have much experience. Every type of alcohol we requested they didn’t seem to have. Aside from the service and the drink issues, it was phenomenal.

    I recently celebrated a small family occasion at Taralluci e Vino and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the host and waiter greeted us warmly and gave us plenty of time to settle in and choose our dishes. The food was outstanding—among other things we ordered - all were excellent - rigatoni with lamb ragu, delicately fried fritti misti, and a delicious arugula and artichoke salad, all perfectly prepared. The desserts were also a highlight. This wasn’t my first visit, and as always, both the service and food were excellent. Highly recommend!

    Wonderful birthday dinner! The wine and drinks were delicious and every member of our party tried a different pasta dish, and every one was fantastic. Will definitely be returning! Loved the vibe and the staff was so welcoming.
