Mark has won five Emmy Award’s as the host of AZ PBS’s “Plate and Pour” and “Check, Please! Arizona” and is a two time inductee into The Arizona Hall of Culinary Fame as Outstanding Chef and Media Master. Mark's adventures include Tarbell’s Restaurant, Wine Bar (Tavern), The Wine Store, Tarbell’s Catering, Tarbell’s The Goods at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Terminal 4, The Tavern at Terminal 3 and The Bond- Cultivate and The Vault.

As a frequent diner at Tarbell's, I can say that it is consistently outstanding. Unlike other top restaurants in Phoenix, Tarbell's menu changes frequently, and the new additions are always amazing. Last night, I had a lobster salad that I had not seen on the menu before, and it was superb. They keep some standard items around all the time -- amazing steaks (try the peppered NY Strip), but if you blink, you may miss the soft shell crabs or oysters that are only served when they can be their best. We come in often and are always pleasantly surprised. Amazing wine list as well. Barrell-aged cocktails are fabulous. Mikey, the mixologist, crafts the best cocktails. Don't forget about the brick oven pizza and Mark's meatballs, which are amazing. Service is always attentive, professional, and friendly. Basically, I consider Tarbell's to be the best restaurant in Phoenix/Scottsdale. I have been to every "five-star" restaurant in town. We have become quite a foodie locale, so that's a big compliment.

Great food but the service is excellent. The past two times I was there the service was unbelievable. The staff is fantastic

A favorite destination for a guaranteed top culinary experience. Aaron was superb as our waiter w great recommendations. Try the Tarbell Black Manhattan. One of the best … ever. We had half a dozen appetizers. The peach salad, lemon pizza, calamari, carpaccio, crudo were fabulous. For mains, the table sampled from across the menu. Every dish was mouth watering. I enjoyed a beautiful piece of Chilean sea bass. And then the desserts. The cheese cake was absolutely outstanding. There was not a drop of chocolate mousse left and profiteroles with ice cream were heavenly.

As always, the service level and food quality at Tarbell's was on point! We started with soup and salad and my spouse couldn't stop raving about his warm lobster salad. Our entrees did not disappoint with my halibut being a total standout dish. Aaron (our server) was GREAT and provided excellent wine pairing suggestions for our meals.
