When I was a child I grew up with my mother, grandmother and aunt. All of them were very good in the kitchen. They had different styles and they cooked every day. From ravioli, soup or patisserie, everything was made from scratch. Those ladies were my teachers. My first lesson was dishwashing, later it was helping as their assistant. To honor those amazing woman who helped me in my early days, I decided to open Tarquin to bring Sioux Falls our flavors, recipes and dishes. Tarquin is a piece of Buenos Aires in a remote corner of Sioux Falls commercial district. You are always going to be welcome here and we will always offer you our best.

    Both my date and I loved our meals! The one thing missing is the absence of nonalcoholic Mocktail or beer. Neither one of us drink so this would have been nice to know ahead of time.

    Waiter was very nice. Service was slow but expected as restaurant was packed for Valentine's day. He did tell us it would be a longer wait and comped a beverage. Great ambiance. I will go back.

    The lamb chops were absolutely delicious! Friendly service. Enjoyed out Valentine Dinner special! We will be back!

    Love the unique dining. Last stop was great but this time our food was lukewarm and overpriced

    Waitress was exceptional, Jaquie. The restaurant was clean and good ambiance. The meal was disappointing. My wife’s TBine was very thin and over cooked. My $42 dollar ribeye was filet and cooked that was because the have a small grill . That’s not how you ever treat a hand cut 12-14 oz Ribeye steak. The appetizer was real good so we were excited for the main course . Really disappointed. A lot of positive reviews. We were there for Valentine’s Day and they were expecting a rush. So maybe they just rushed our meal. Not sure we will give them a 2nd chance.

    We had an amazing time for a party of 16 people. Food was great, restaurant wasn’t busy so it was not loud.

    Extremely slow service, took 80 min to get our food and it didn’t come out together or correct. My partner was done eating before I got my food, no apologies or explanation. I had then bag my food up to go as we were there from 6:20pm to 8:30pm and all I had was a side salad in that time.
