TAS Restaurants offer a contemporary Turkish style and warm, friendly atmosphere, and our first branch The Cut is perfect for any occasion. All dishes are prepared by highly skilled chefs using fresh, seasonal produce to the highest standard offering a delicious mix of classic and modern dishes, all served daily.

Have used this branch and Borough many times over the years so was very disappointed with service. Took 20 minutes before we were asked about drinks and they had no Efe so we had to have Peroni. Asked twice for water. At no point during our meal did anyone come and check all was ok or ask if we needed anything , we had to call them over every time. It just did not seem there were enough staff, one waiter spent most of his time on mobile phone! Then 2 disappeared leaving 1 serving, 1 pouring drinks and 2 chefs! I had purposely booked the table as there were 9 of us after visit the theatre but they seemed overwhelmed by walk ins. The food itself was as lovely as always but the lack of staff was pie.

the welcome was very warm, the menu offers a wide choice, the service does not delay. the dishes are very well cooked, the portions are sufficient. We had a very pleasant time and will remember this restaurant.

Having visited on many previous occasions post Young Vic theatre, this was rather disappointing. The place was almost empty on a Saturday night which surprised us. We arrived 15 minutes early for a 10.15 booking but felt rushed. We were asked to settle the bill by 11 pm. There was a noticeable smell of sewage emanating from the stairwell leading to the downstairs lavatories. We changed tables but still noticed it. The food was passable but far from the generous portions of earlier (and better) times.

Your party arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, and your order was taken, with the bill provided as we approached our closing time. our waiter was fantastic. The food was terrific. The lamb skewers were not only exceptionally tasty but moistand cooked just right. The char grilled chicken wings were also very moist and tender and tasted great. we would go back there to eat again.

Food was excellent and service very good - friendly, efficient and attentive without being intrusive. However the overall experience was diminished by an unpleasant smell spreading up from the basement. Hopefully, Tas will be able to fix this soon, as it is a restaurant that is a long-standing favourite of ours. With increasing age, we are also finding the noise level in Tas a bit high, but accept that is largely our problem!
