Level 9 Restaurant in the Blavatnik building is a contemporary, architectural space serving modern food with broad international influences, but based around the finest British produce. Head Chef, Jon Atashroo, leads an incredible team who love to produce amazing and unforgettable food. As well as the seasonal à la carte, exhibition themed set menus are presented. The front of house team is looked after by Restaurant Manager, Fernando Requeni, who ensures each visitor experiences the true quality of both food and service. Wine is drawn from the Tate’s award-winning cellars. Tate has long been famous for its wine cellar, built on the reputation of the Rex Whistler restaurant’s award-winning list that focuses on the classic wines of Europe. The Tate Modern Restaurant’s wine list draws on the same core values of low margins and rare aged wines but its emphasis is on the less well-trodden areas of Europe and the New World.
