Taverna is a warm and inviting neighborhood restaurant that offers a truly Italian experience without having to leave Texas. Our Italian chefs strive to create the perfect menu using seasonal ingredients for their surprising entrees; every day we present a variety of northern Italian delights from simple comforts such as pan seared sea bass to delicate pasta and fabulous risotto.

Risotto is indeed our flagship dish. We only use Carnaroli rice – the “king of the rice”; thanks to its particular characteristics and firm texture the Carnaroli grain maintains its shape during the slow cooking required for a perfect and creamy risotto. Our broad offering includes truffle oil and Parmigiano risotto, bay scallops with home made pesto and an inspired Vin Santo risotto with asparagus and prosciutto.

A taverna in Italy is a special place where customers become friends and family. Here we celebrate the essence of hospitality and farm-to-table cooking reflecting our authentic Italian style.

Looks like the ingredients were changed. I have always ordered the carpaccio and truffle risoto. Today both were very disappointing

Service and food was excellent. The server offered us items no longer on the menu. Well managed restaurant. We recommend this restaurant for a date night.

I always come here when I’m celebrating a milestone, or just in general, life! I always bring and recommend family and friends here and it will always get 5 stars from me. Service is always 5, and food is 5 stars as well!

We had a table of 6 on Valentines Day. Our server was excellent! He was very attentive! The food was excellent as well! Everyone enjoyed their meal ! I have always a nice time going to Taverna

We have been here numerous times and tonight was a big fail. From the waiter to the food. There are so many wonderful places around this area but even the coffee we had with dessert wasn’t good. Ugh. Scratch this restaurant off my list.

Lovely Menu - We settled on Grilled Pulpo + Beet Carpaccio + Truffle Paste Mushroom Pizza all of which were AMAZING! However, noise level was a bit too much for us to even have a dinner conversations .
