Would really recommend Salford Hall for a lovely, great value Sunday lunch with attentive, kind staff, in a beautiful setting. We were also pleasantly surprised that living locally got us 15% off the bill :) the team made an extra effort to make my sister in law’s birthday special too which was really appreciated. Faultless all round - will definitely be returning.

Very small portions. Had a curry main course dish and it was the size of a starter.

Food and service excellent, background music too loud (even after asking if it could be turned down), wines too expensive (but usual markup for this type of establishment)

Wow! Truly 5-Star. Food presentation was artistic. Flavor and texture of all food was superb. Staff was ‘just right’. Quiet, beautiful environment. Going again and again!

A lovely last minute booking and we are both glad we chose the tempest restaurant. Food was lovely and well presented and the pace of the meal was perfect. We will definitely be coming back.

This was our first visit to the Tempest restaurant at Salfod Hall and it turned out to be a delightfully memorable occasion. The meal was truly one of the best I have ever eaten. We were celebrating a birthday and the standard of food and the service did not disappoint. Every course was beautifully presented without having too much on the plate and tasted delicicious. We will definately be revisiting this restaurant again. Thank you for giving us a delightful evening.

The food was very good but the service needs some training. They young girls were very nice but took a while to take our dirty plates away and ask about desert . By then we had gone past wanting desert. I think maybe we went at an awkward time as a lot of the staff were coming into kitchen and taking there dinners out to another room so left just one young girl setting up tables so maybe that should be staggered. Besides that the food was excellent and would defeat go back again Jane

We both had the same meals - the pork followed by Eton Mess which were very tasty and nicely prepared. The service was very good also.

We booked for a Sunday lunch as a belated special occasion and were not disappointed. This was our first visit to Salford Hall Hotel and Tempest restaurant, the setting is outstanding, the restaurant is fabulous and the food is amazing. The waiting staff are extremely polite, friendly and attentive. It was a truly memorable dining experience and we are both looking forward to making a return visit in the not too distant future.
