Our love of the botanicals used in Vermouth led to naming our restaurant after the first English botanist to hit Australian shores. Sir Joseph Banks became the leading English authority on Australia & the botanical names he left behind are his legacy. Our food philosophy is based around the abundant Mediterranean table, where family and friends gather to enjoy a shared style meal. We believe every great meal should start with some snacks & an aperitif and of course our beverage of choice is Vermouth!

CANAPE EVENTS Our bar area can hold up to 20 guests for an after work client meeting or a small celebration with the option of either a grazing table or a selection of canapes.ENTIRE VENUE A stunning waterfront venue by day or night, perfect for sit down dinners of up to 120 guests. We can create the perfect event for you with our canape & set menu options & beverage packs available. Start with aperitifs and canapes as your guests gather & then enjoy a sit down shared styled meal.Our minimum spend can change seasonally. Please email our reservations team for more information.10% service charge is added to the final bill on all group bookings of 10 or more guests.

Great menu for sharing food with friends. All the dishes selected were enjoyed by the six of us. Geoff/Jeff was an absolute gem and complemented the great experience. Looking forward to trying the new Mexican flavoured food in a couple of months

Had an awesome lunch experience! Excellent service, great food! Had the tasting menu and thought it was extremely good value and totally delicious! Would recommend and revisit!

Had guests from the States and they really enjoyed the cuisine and the atmosphere. Our hostess was fantastic and extremely accomodating!
