Absolutely horrible. We are local. I was hesitant because of the reviews but it was close and we like Italian. We had a reservation yet it took us 10 minutes just to get seated at 5pm. We got seats in a booth by the bar, the poor bartender was the only server. The bar area had 3 tables when we sat down yet took 10 minutes to be seen and 15 minutes for our wine and water. As we were sitting the tables filled up and literally saw people waiting even longer than we were. Saw tables get up after not being served for what seemed like forever. The food when in finally came was mediocre. Violas is better. Sogno is better. I don’t even know why this piece is still open. Worst service ever. By the way we eat out 4 + times a week. We know what eating out is like and this is not it.

I had the red snapper that was on special. I found it quite dry. The farro salad is always delicious. My husband had the linguine vongole and that was great.

A few small parties in the restaurant when we arrived. We were seated right away. Took a while to have a waitress come over, she finally did and was nice. Took our drink order, wine and beer. Brought drinks back and took salad and dinner order. I could smell the wine before I touched it sitting across from me. It had turned and smelled awful. How the bartender or the waitress didn’t notice that. It was a wine I have never had so assuming maybe I was wrong I smelled it and it was not drinkable. Took a while for her to come back to tell her. The bread was good as always. The pear salad was really not anything special at all Husband ordered the fish special he liked it and said the fish was great. I ordered the “small purse shaped” pasta. The first three were good but you can’t eat more than that. They were so filling the dinner is priced to have all those little purses and you can’t eat them. I would have rather had maybe 6 of those pastas then a side of veggies or something. Not a full plate of super dense filling pasta. We have been many times. It I think this might be our last for a While. Too long of a wait for a very expensive and not so great dinner.

The food and service at Terra & Acqua has made a noticeable upgrade since the new owner and chef have come on the scene a little over a year ago. Their is nothing inexpensive about this restaurant but the menu is always interesting and the food very fresh. They also offer a very nice selection of freshly made, oven baked pizzas as we..
