Located on the third floor of Eataly Los Angeles, Terra is a rooftop restaurant featuring a wood-burning Italian grill and views of the Hollywood Hills. Named for "earth" in Italian, Terra's menu is centered around the grill, resulting in earthy dishes paired perfectly with botanical cocktails, premium Italian wines, and more.

Located on the rooftop, the unique space includes an outdoor terrace with an active botanical garden, bar, and fire pit; indoor dining room; and more. Oh, and did I mention the 20- year-old olive tree. Our full-serviced wood-burning Italian grill brings the ground-to-grill experience to life: simple and seasonal Californian ingredients presented in sharable meals, whole -grilled vegetables, rotisserie dishes, and more - all paired with unique beverage program centered around gins from around the world. The earth elements showcased within each dish combine with the gin cocktails and fire of the grill to create an unforgettable experience in the heart of Los Angeles.

    Tuna Tartare appetizer left us wanting more…..but the pasta dishes made up for it. Overall, very good experience.

    i had very high expectations of this place and was deeply disappointed. chose to sit on patio and when we arrived we realized its way too cold so we asked if we could be moved to under a heater as many tables with heaters were seemingly available....they told us(in a very rude tone) none were available on patio but they could offer us a table under covered patio so we said yes ok. so they move us to another table under covered patio but just adjacent to patio and equally cold and still no heater. we gave up at that point and said lets just eat and get out as soon as possible. the waiter and all staff were very unattentive and borderline rude. acting like they are doing us a favor. we ordered the burrata and mushrooms (totally tasteless), the gem salad (very unbalanced flavors, was smothered in olive oil and salt but had no acid so tasted like eating lettuce and olive oil) , and the cavatelli with ragu (this was fantastic and tasted authentic and fresh). i will not be back to this restaurant and would not recommend it to anyone.

    Only water was served for the first hour. We didn’t get any food or drinks until we complained. It was a fixed menu so there was no reason for the delay. After food service began it was a good experience and staff worked hard to make us happy. Overall a good experience.

    The place is beautiful and charming, and The service is 10/10. However, we had the tasting menu, and half of the food was untasty and very bland, while the other was good. So, for the price, it was not worth it.

    Always a great place for a business lunch or a fun dinner. Service is excellent though sometimes a little slow from the kitchen at lunch if you don’t go with the 2-course set options. But excellent quality and freshness and lovely staff. The trumpet mushrooms are the best, and cavatelli.

    The food was pretty good. The salad and focaccia was bland while my tagliatelle pasta was incredibly tasty. Our server was nice, but you could tell she was very busy or just not great at service. We only saw her for a short amount of time and there was a very long gap from ordering our drinks to our food. The wine was also on point.

    Lovely roof top seating, festive. Service was great, we may have chosen wrong thing to order. But overall we had a wonderful evening.
