Since our opening in 2008, Terrain Cafe grew naturally from a small coffee shop nestled in the store to a full-service restaurant offering seasonally inspired brunch, dinner, and beverage menus. Our dedicated culinary team works closely with purveyors to ethically source fresh, high-quality ingredients that lay the foundation for our nourishing dishes. Each cafe's unique and deliberately designed environment blurs the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing an inspiring dining experience every time. This specific cafe will always have unique roots, and we'll undoubtedly remain embedded in them as we grow.

Our patio is open for walk-ins only!

We loved our private tent meal. Atmosphere could not have been better - unique, intimate, beautiful. Will say that there were many menu items that were out and therefore unavailable to us. This happened the last time we came to Terrain as well. Two entrees we had planned to order were sold out. The wine we chose was also unavailable. As was the dessert we had selected. This was disappointing. The food we ended up with was delicious. Hopefully the problems with inventory will be remedied - we will be back to try again.

We came for our yearly holiday new years brunch. We love it here but maybe it was an off day? The service was slow, food didn’t not come out all together some of us got entrees and others had to wait. We ordered truffle fries and got regular, food was cold, they were out of bread so no French toast no bread for charcuterie board and the pitted bread was stale. Going out to eat is not cheap these days especially for 6 of us. This is a really special tradition we even pay extra for a woodland village cabin which was the highlight. The ambiance and the upgrade this year from a tent to a structures tiny cabin with electric heat was so nice. I just wish the meal was better.

Always a nice experience. We have been dining at Terrain for years. It all comes together here….fine food, great service and most of all, the ambiance is remarkable.

Food was not great… shrimp were totally unseasoned and bland. Disappointed in the quality of the food overall. Server was excellent

We dined here after my boyfriend and I had a great evening at Longwood Gardens. When we were sat we didn’t have anyone acknowledge that we were there for over ten minutes. The manager came and filled our water glasses and took our order for a bottle of wine. Still haven’t had a serve come up to the table. The same Manager took our dinner order…. Still no server. We started with three mushroom soup (amazing ) and the mussels. A server came up to us to clean the dishes that were empty for awhile and asked if we wanted desert menus … I told her we didn’t even have our dinner yet and she just said ohhhh and walked away. Dinner came out and it was good. We stacked our plates when we were done and waited a long time for someone to come and clear the plates and ask to see a desert menu. The server at some point changed out of her uniform and I guess was waiting for us to finish before she left for the night. The same girl took our plates and asked if we wanted the check. I told her I need the check and the manager please . The check came within 30 seconds after we asked the fastest service we had all night. When the manager came over she did apologize for the wait of the food and we told her about the service. She made sure we had some desert to take home. I did leave her my information for The general manager to contact me. The service was super disappointing when the food and ambiance are delightful. The manger was Amanda and server if you wanna call her that was Cora.

We reserved one of the tents and it proved perfect for our group of 5. Service was great and food was largely very good and served in a timely manner. Will return!

Half of the items on the menu were unavailable only told to us after looking at the menu for 20 mins. Wasn’t given bread. Never came to refill water or drinks. Terrible

One one the worst experiences I have ever had here. Typically we love the place so we were disappointed. 5 main entrees weren’t being offered. Service was super slow throughout the whole night and just a general disconnect.. super bummer bc we were looking forward to the text experience but would never recommend. Oh yeah - showed up heater wasn’t on.. took 3 ppl to figure it out then quickly got too hot & none of the candles in the tent were turned when arrived.
