Since our opening in 2008, Terrain Cafe grew naturally from a small coffee shop nestled in the store to a full-service restaurant offering seasonally inspired brunch, dinner, and beverage menus. Our dedicated culinary team works closely with purveyors to ethically source fresh, high-quality ingredients that lay the foundation for our nourishing dishes. Each cafe's unique and deliberately designed environment blurs the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing an inspiring dining experience every time. This specific cafe will always have unique roots, and we'll undoubtedly remain embedded in them as we grow.

Not sure if the heat was out but there was no communication about any issues with the HVAC. It was so cold in the cafe we had to wear our jackets through our entire 1.5hrs of drinks and appetizers. The waitress came over with a jacket on about halfway through our stay, which was odd if there wasn't a clear problem with the temperature. Other than that, the food and drinks were decent even though service was a bit delayed. .

The service was awful. 3 burgers and three chicken pot pies and it took forever. 5 of the 6 of us got our meals and the last burger came after most of us were already done eating. This is my favorite restaurant, however the last 2 visits the service has nee slow and very poor.

Not sure we will visit again in cold weather because it is absolutely freezing in there. Sitting on a metal chair makes it worse. Ordered hot tea and 20 minutes or so went by and we had to find out waiter to ask where it was. I did not take off my coat or scarf and had gloves on until our food came. Our waiter was pleasant.

Disappointed with our experience. Room was freezing cold. Server did not show up in a timely manner. My coffee was not fresh and look warm. Food and drinks took too long and water did not get refilled. This experience left me very unhappy with returning any time soon. Maybe management needs to reevaluate the steps of service.

They were incredibly short staffed ( guessing that was the issue). We sat at our table for 50 minutes before we even got wine glasses to use. Food was served at 90 minutes. Burger was medium well vs medium rare and $39 halibut was overcooked. 3 other meals were fine. We have been going at Christmas for years for the atmosphere which is enjoyable but will most likely make this our last visit.

The restaurant is always beautiful but they do not have heat. It was 25 degrees outside and inside it was freezing. We all wore coats, including the servers. The food was not hot and not very good. We have been here many times but this the final visit.

I have been to Terrain before and have had a really nice experience. This was the first time have eaten dinner there. Firstly, it was a very cold night and the restaurant was quite chilly. All of the people eating had their coats on and even the servers were dressed warmly. So ambience I rated very low despite the beautiful decorations. If you are cold while you are eating just not enjoyable. We ordered 4 drinks. Took about 20 minutes for 3 of the drinks to come and one was wrong order. waited an additional 10 minutes for 4th drink to arrive. Our server while very friendly would disappear for long periods of time. We had 7:30pm reservations and our food arrived around 8:45. I can understand if restaurant was really busy but I did not feel as if it was and in fact we were one of the handful of tables left by the time we were finished. The food was lukewarm. The only thing that saved the night was the food was good despite not being very hot. Burger was excellent but fries were cold. Lasagne was very good and short ribs and grain bowl also good. However, given our experience would not recommend again for dinner.
