They did not allow me to bring my outside cake in without notice - even though the host asked me to fill out a form for all the food I was bringing in when I walked in, but quickly backtracked when they realized it was for a different reso. So they DO let outside food in, just not cake because they want you to buy from their bakery. Oh but they did put the cake in the fridge for us, light candles and allowed us to take photos.. we just were not allowed to eat the cake. And no I did not think to call the restaurant to ask if they allow cakes because every restaurant I’ve been to has allowed outside cake (even with a cutting fee which I am fine with). The fact they don't let outside cake in because they want you to purchase from their bakery, I get it, it's a business move, but to not even give the person celebrating their birthday (or whatever occassion it may be) a free slice is greedy at best. Terroni's Group's estimated annual revenue is currently $75.9 MILLION per YEAR. You can't spare one birthday cake? That's revenue down the drain because they didn't purchase the tiramisu?
Servers and hosts were excellent! Very nice, kind, apologetic and understanding of our disappointment which I was grateful for, but it’s not them I was mad at, it was the establishment who changed these rules recently.
In terms of food I did order desert because it was my birthday and they didn’t allow me my cake- I loved the Tiramisu, but pasta was too al dente I could not finish it.
Overall I had a great time because my friends made it special but never going back to Terroni’s
