This is our first time trying TGI Friday in Ayala Cebu. So as the usual consumer, you would go and check their menu and prices first. I did and one of the things I found highlighted in their menu is that ‘NO SERVICE CHARGE’ in bold letters. So I assumed there was none cause why would you bill your customers a servic charge in the first place when you are supposed to serve your paying customers? Anyway, fast forward, we went there and ordered. It took them almost 1 hour to serve our food which didn’t bother me that much but it did when they charged us 7.2% service charge during the billing. Its clear that the staff were not all aligned. They given me different explanations and ended up saying they do charge for service even though its highlighted in their menu that they dont. False advertising = bad capitalism. Surely, I wont eat at TGI Friday again. Aside from the food are unreasonably priced, the service is bad. Ew.
