Born & raised in southern Thailand, Piya inherited the Thai focus on food - to Thais even being a little hungry is considered an emergency! Piya travelled extensively in Thailand learning regional specialities as she went, before taking her skills to England, where she extended her repertoire to include the best of European cooking. Here she met her husband James, before they both moved to the USA in 2008, for what was supposed be just be a couple of years..

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in NOVA! Pia is the owner/chef at this location and she is being fantastic! She even cooks for my husbands service dog 🥰. I highly recommend this restaurant, even it’s if a long drive for you.

Delicious food, charming hosts/service and lovely setting. Drunken noodles with shrimp and orange chicken with crab Rangoon was yummy and quickly served.

Staff was v helpful in adjusting to put us in a quiet spot when one of us was unable to go up a couple of interior stairs to the table we’d requested. Wait staff was terrific. Food excellent. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated outside. A few other parties were having dinner at the same time. While the menus were dropped, it took almost 15 minutes until we were offered water. At that point we knew what we wanted to eat and proceeded to order. 30 minutes later nothing had arrived, no drinks, no appetizers. The sad thing on top of all, a nearby table celebrated a birthday and it appeared that the owner and chef decided to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine with them. Great, but not while we were sitting there for 45 minutes in total with nothing to eat or drink. We got up and left.

Service was terrible and it took so long to get food and then once the food arrive it was wrong. Drinks came before appetizers and they didn’t have some of the listed menu items. Will not be going here.

The service at this restaurant is declining in quality, and the food is not quite as outstanding as it used to be.

We love this place. Excellent food and the ambiance. Chicken tikka is my favorite. Service sometimes is a bit slow, but it is a small local place.
