We had a very nice dinner at the Abner. Really enjoyed the lobster newberg . The rolls were great, reminded me of the ones we used to get at a local bakery when I was a kid. We both has the steak frites. The steak comes covered by a mound of French fries, it was hard to find the steak under them. It was all delicious and cooked to order. The room was nicely decorated for the holiday and the noise level was fine. The service was excellent. Really enjoyed it.

I have Dined here a handful of times since their opening. My overall experience up until my most recent visit was quite pleasant. But, this previous experience was completely sub par. Our waitress quite obviously screwed our order up. We were never checked in on with our empty glasses and bottle of water that were empty for 35 minutes. She came back to ask what we ordered for our mains about 30-40 minutes after ordering and we had ordered our meals before the tables in front and behind us as we waited and watched them finish and leave their tables before I ended up asking for the check out utter frustration from another wait staff. The waiter came back and was like did you get your mains and replied nope. Our original waitress came to our table and said idk what’s going on it’s out of my control and walked away. The waiter I approached ran downstairs and came back 12 minutes later with our mains. He said we were comped on our meals as for the mix up to end up actually paying for most of the meal when the check was delivered. I honestly don’t care about the money at all but I do care about the awkwardness and the total disregard for the lack of attention we had as customers. I’ve eaten at a lot of the top restaurants in the world and totally have empathy for the industry but our food was so so and the way things were handled just seemed unprofessional to me. This is why I struggle justifying eating out anymore because if I’m going to spend 260$ or more on dinner the food and service should be great and I always tip way above 20% on great food and service. I’m hesitant to come try again after such an ordeal. Not to mention they haven’t changed their menu since opening and it’s a bit ordinary at this point.

Lovely ambience, delicious food, noise-level such that a group of 4 could easily converse. We will definitely return.

From the moment we walked into the restaurant it was wonderful. The host that seated us was friendly and very gracious. Our waiter was also friendly and knowledgeable. Ambience fabulous….Our food was delicious, I think my potatoes could have been hotter, but they and everything I had was delicious. My sister also enjoyed her meal…the cappuccino was probably one of the best I have ever had. We really enjoyed it, just try to find a way to keep the potatoes hot from plating to serving.

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner at the newly opened Abner Hotel's Courtyard restaurant. Very friendly, attentive, well-trained wait staff who gave us excellent service without being intrusive. Excellent menu and delicious food. Unique, historic, characterful atmosphere renovated to a high standard with cool art and design elements

We had a pre-Thanksgiving family reunion dinner for 5 that turned into 6 (which they graciously accommodated at the last minute) that could not have been better. Service off the chart good. Food creative and excellently presented and prepared. We will certainly be back, very lively bar area and acoustic musicians. Bravo to the hard working team bring this old space to life as new. Only complaint is signage could be clearer!

Wonderful experience at the courtroom restaurant, we were 4 guests Saturday night We enjoyed the food very testy, professional staff great atmosphere with a lady singing with a beautiful voice. We had a fantastic time , highly recommended This place , we will be back .
