Recently named a Michelin Recommended Restaurant, The Alden embodies its meaning, “friend to all,” by creating a warm, convivial atmosphere. Inspired by Chef Jared Hucks’ global culinary journey, our daily menu celebrates local, seasonal ingredients through shareable dishes designed to spark conversation and delight. For a more intimate experience, join us at the Chef’s Counter for a seven-course tasting menu, where you can witness the kitchen in action. Our thoughtfully curated wine list complements each dish. Chef Jared’s philosophy, “Love It Up,” is reflected in every meal. We look forward to welcoming you to The Alden for a memorable dining experience.

    Had the five courses tasting menu. Very tasty food and great presentation. But 2 desserts in 5 courses tasting menu I think is too much dessert. We feel like the last dessert was a waste. I rather have another light appetizer or soup. We would like to come back and try other dishes.

    Always a great time. Chef Jared is a genius. We love coming here and enjoy their seasonal menu which is very well crafted.

    As usual The Alden did not disappoint. The food was “outside the box” and delicious. Service was on point and accommodating. Truly the “crown jewel” for this neighborhood. We will be back .

    Chef Hucks creates a symphony with each course. There’s a lot going on with flavors ranging from gently blackened snapper to the sautéed poblano peppers on which it sits to the black bean purée and salsa verde and crème fraiche sauce accompaniments. They all complement each other and sing on the palate. He also makes use of atypical ingredients such as celery root. The finale was a chocolate mousse which had been aerated then flash frozen in liquid nitrogen then dipped in molten dark chocolate. Amazing!

    I cannot believe this restaurant does not have a Michelin star. It’s better than some of the M. one star restaurants in Atlanta.

    Great experience tasting unique and new dishes by Chef and his team. The service was impeccable and friendly, and the team was knowledgeable - even recommending a great bottle of wine to go with our courses. Cute and quaint venue. We had a great evening and next time I’m in town, I will be back.
