   First time at this establishment and very pleasantly surprised. Food is vey tasty and portions are generous. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Didn't love the music but can live with it.

   This place is alright, cheap ny NY standards. The ambiance is really good. We started with a salad that had a mix of lettuces and other things. The dressing was nice, but some of the greens weren't tasty. My husband $18 smash burger was about as small as shake shack so, while it was good, we wouldn't order it again as it would take 2 to fill him up. The half chicken was good. The glazed carrots were excellent, but again for a side it was a small portion. Probably won't eat here again.

   Too much money for runny eggs and wilted lettuce. Restaurant was beyond freezing. Service was fine. Won't be going back. Breakfast anywhere else would be better and more than half the cost.

   Food was great. Got loud as the place filled up. Would have ordered more drinks if our server checked back more about it, he was busy but relied too heavily on food runners. They didn’t check in or as for drinks either. Also left all our empty glasses on our tiny table from all drinks the whole time with other unused dishes, so could have been pre-bussed better so we could have more room. The pre show meal was a good quality and a good deal but too much food for us to eat in 75 minutes.

   Very enjoyable, totally reasonable, especially for this area. For starters, we did the the Pick 3 (we had 4) for $28-Parker House Rolls w/ roasted garlic butter; 4 warm rolls with poppyseeds, garlic butter had big roasted cloves; spicy Italian sausage was tasty, the mostardo was not a strong flavor but a nice compliment; smoked duck breast was cold which I was not expecting, had a lot of flavor-good, not my favorite; crispy stuffed mushrooms, very crispy, aioli was tasty however, we didn’t see any stuffing, they were still good. Appetizer-chicken nuggets, very crispy, they were ok. Entrees are à la carte. Smash burger was a flavorful burger and there was more than one pickle, yay, all the condiments together were great. Skirt steak was cooked perfectly, salsa verde was a great compliment, there was a something puréed under the steak that I was not fond of. We had a side of French fries, thin crispy, nicely seasoned, big portion, great fries. Dessert was the chocolate chip cookies served out of the oven (be careful, they are hot) very fun and delicious, cappuccino was strong and hot. Strange that the glass it was served in had no handle so it made it difficult to drink right away because it was so nicely hot. The service was excellent, our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing and we had some funny exchange a couple of times. Our reservation was 5 o’clock and they said us at 5 o’clock. We would certainly go here again.

   The service the atmosphere and the food was so so wonderful. The salmon was the best I have ever had. In a horseradish cream sauce that made it so soft and flavorful. The appetizer with the sesame toast caramelized onions and blue cheese was great. I want to go back.

   Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance, excellent service, friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. The stuffed mushroom appetizer is amazing!

   Dined tonight at the Alderman. Hard to find. It’s under scaffolding on West 48th street and easy to miss the entrance. Once inside, though, the staff was lovely and accommodating. Our waiter, Julio, was terrific. As for the food, small menu but a handful of good choices, nonetheless. And everything tasted fresh. Also options for vegetarians as well as carnivores. No daily specials. Just the printed menu. Would go back without hesitation. Only downside is the ineffective mood lighting. Almost impossible to read the menu. But the restaurant is still trying to find its way. Hope it makes it. It deserve to.

    Told they were waiting for the two tops to get up so we waited no problem but we waited along with 2 other reservations for 2 people. She finally insisted we just take a bar table in the lobby then 2 min later sat the other reservations who came after us. Slow service, ignored. Bad look for a place that advertises themselves as a pre show dinner spot. I did overhear one server called out. One.
