   I've been to The Alley in the past and have always had a great experience. Not sure if Easter had anything to do with the bar today. The bloody Mary is always super yum, but today it was off a bit. The spice level and the overall taste was lacking. That was the only downfall of the meal today. I had the chicken fried steak and it was good. My husband had the chorizo quesadilla and someone had the fish and chips while another person had the Alley burger. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The service was excellent and she checked on us frequently. Even with the drink order a little lackluster, the food was great. I would return to The Alley without an issue. Overall, the Alley is a good place to watch a game and have a meal. They provide a great value for the money. Highly recommend.

   We used to go to the Alley often, but for some reason haven't been there for a while. We really enjoyed our experience, and we return soon. The ambiance has a real neighborhood feel to it. The service was outstanding. The hostess was concerned about the table that we were at and moved us to a better one when it was available. The menu was interesting, the food was great. and the entree comes with 2 sides. Considering the cost of eating out today, I thought the meal was a good value.

   We had another tasty meal at a comfortable neighborhood restaurant. The cocktails were tasy and the prices reasonable.

   The food was excellent. Large portions. Overbooked reservations and we had to wait in crowded bar. Service was slow Noise level, primarily from crowded bar area, made it very difficult to hear conversations in dining area.

   Great place to enjoy what SoCal and in particular Newport Beach was all about in the 80's and 90's: laid back, fun, entertaining, loud and good wholesome food. We used to live in this part of Newport Beach when it was called Zooport and it brought back a lot of great memory. Service was great, waitress was in a great mood and joked around. Food was good, had the Alley Special, a pasta dish with beef filet on top. Very tasty. My partner had the trout. Very good as well. Best thing are the bar scene and the drinks: plentyful, stiff and affordable Definitely a place to go!

    The worst experience we’ve ever had to the point where it was shocking. Our server was terrible and rude. Took over 40 minutes for her to come back and take our dinner order. Then to top it off, the steak was over cooked to the point where I could barely cut it. Way to ruin a Valentine’s dinner.
