The Amalfi Llama reimagines the culinary landscape by seamlessly merging the allure of a rustic live-fire steakhouse with the flavors of Italian cuisine, a culinary haven where genuine cooking, down-to-earth cuisine and stylish flair intertwine. Guests embark on a journey from Southern Patagonia to the Mediterranean coast of Italy as they indulge in a multisensory experience that transcends boundaries – from the soothing cream decor to the intimate ambiance of crackling embers accompanied by the melodies of vintage Italian vinyls. Embracing the essence of a modern farmhouse, The Amalfi Llama revolves around an open parrilla grill and wood-burning oven, harnessing fire, smoke, coals and embers to craft dishes. The restaurant’s ethos also meets design with Latin American and Mediterranean influences, resulting in an inviting environment adorned with light woods, natural light and subtly elegant finishes, defying traditional steakhouse and Italian restaurant conventions.

                                      Decided to try a new place. Oh well.... limited menu and not that interesting. Selected oysters, beat salad, NY steak and fries. Oysters were small and briny. Beat salad uninspired. Steak - cooked fine but a little tough. Fries - just ok. Ambiance is not special. Interior is very loud and exterior is louder that it should be. A tad on the expensive side too.

                                      Beautiful ambience inside, very pretty. However the noise level is way too high to even speak to people at your table you have to shout. I guess we had an inexperienced waitress. She did not know items on the menu, especially the drinks. There was an alcohol listed for a cocktail that said Pisco, which I did not know if it was gin,vodka,bourbon, brandy. I asked her which type it is, she kept saying Pisco, I said what kind of alcohol and she said Pisco. well I gave up after that and had to google to find out its a brandy, so I just went with an Apersol Spritzer. The waters were never refilled the whole time we were there (2hours). We had to ask for them to be refilled. I ordered the steak which I wanted medium well. It was cooked medium so I sent it back, it came back the same way the 2nd time and the 3rd time it was burnt to a crisp and everyone else was done eating by then, so I gave up. The waitress said "this is our medium well" I said that is not medium well, she kept saying this is "our medium well". The manager did come over and comp the steak but I will not be back.

                                      Great place in UTC mall. Great food (we tried Branzini, Artichoke pizza and broccolini and everything was delicious). Service was great too,

                                      Wonderful food from the starters to dessert every item we ordered was delicious. The service is warm, friendly and attentive. The cocktails are an added bonus. One of my favorite restaurants in UTC.

                                      Incredible wood fire cooked steaks!!! The center cut filet was cooked and crusted to perfection! Prime ribeye was flavorful and cut great. Pizza was crispy, sauced perfect, and cheese forward, best Roma style I’ve had outside Italia!!! Major recommendation for Amalfi Llama, a unique blending of Patagonian & traditional Italian cuisine!!!

                                      Just a mixed bag. Drinks were great. Appetizers were excellent. Side dishes were amazing. But the the steaks were undercooked, refired, and still wrong. Waitress excellent and comped desert but the thing that really cost was wrong. Just can’t come above a C.

                                      I recently dined at The Amalfi Llama, and it was an incredible experience! The service was top-notch; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks were equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meal. The restaurant itself had a wonderful ambiance, and the outdoor seating with heaters was a perfect touch, keeping us warm and cozy even in the winter chill. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience!

                                      I had booked the chef's table at a cost of 1,000 USD minimum and when we arrived at the restaurant, the chefs table had been double booked by the events manager. We were very disappointed as this was my clients dinner and I had called the restaurant the previous day to confirm and add in another 4 people. I was told that the event managers booking was being maintained and we were moved to the outdoor patio with overhead heaters. Luciana looked after us and really did her very best.
