The Americano is an Italian-inspired steakhouse that is modern in approach and Italian in spirit. With an elevated, yet approachable menu it serves every taste, from fine steaks, such as prime and American Wagyu beef, to freshly made pasta, organic salads, Italian antipasti and Mediterranean seafoods including Italian crudi. The Americano blends a European style of highly personalized, tableside service with contemporary Italian-inspired dining to create an unmistakable, convivial experience within the heart of North Scottsdale. The Americano's culinary vision shares the spotlight with an inventive cocktail program that is playful and intricately devised. The Americano also features a thoughtfully curated selection of 200 distinct wines from iconic, established and emerging Italian and American labels. Hip and humble, the restaurant offers a sophisticated, warm atmosphere adorned with striking custom art and sculptures.

    I made a reservation here 2-3 weeks in advance to celebrate my 30th with a close family member. We get there and we were left unacknowledged at the table for 30+ minutes without even drinks. I was asked twice if I was celebrating anything and I said yes. We finally get drinks & food and notice that the table behind us got a little birthday treat but we didn’t even though we were asked twice? The whole thing was so disappointing, including the food. It looks really bad when you have two tables there celebrating the same thing but one gets ignored and overlooked. Mind you, the place was not busy so there was no excuse and we felt we got differential treatment.

    The service was exceptional, truly top-notch. Like many upscale establishments, the lighting was dim, which, while creating an intimate ambiance, made it challenging to fully appreciate the visual presentation of the dishes. We ordered two medium-rare ribeye steaks—mine was bone-in and cooked closer to medium. Nonetheless, the flavor was outstanding. I highly recommend the tableside mozzarella; it was a standout experience.

    The stake is not at par with top level statehouses. Both filet and ribeye were served barely warm, both the meats and the plates . We were disappointed…

    Had a delightful date night at The Americano! Enjoyed the Tagliatelle Bolognese! Best wine list we’ve seen in a long while! Our server, Austin, was helpful and so personable! Cant wait to return! Highly recommend!

    We had the best service! Our server Austin was attentive and had a wonderful personality. You MUST try the table side mozzarella. Steak was like butter and cooked perfectly. Pasta was delicious! Definitely coming back. This may be our new fav spot in the valley.

    As always the food and drinks were on point! The service from Holly and the bar staff, Bella, Andrew and Terry were awesome! The whole evening was wonderful we really appreciated the booth, we both felt cozy and private for our date!
