An elegant cocktail lounge in the heart of Adelaide. The Atrium Lounge offers a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy relaxed conversations with family, friends or colleagues. Visit the Lounge for a light meal during the day, or visit after 6pm to sample our extensive beverage list of local and international wines, beers, and spirits. Located inside the InterContinental Lobby, join us for live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, and enjoy views of the vibrant Riverbank Precinct and Adelaide Oval.

    Parking is available close by at the Adelaide Convention Centre. They offer 2 undercover car parking options with the North Terrace and the Riverbank car parks. Both are located directly under the Adelaide Convention Centre and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Clearance is 2.0 metres and automated payment stations accept credit/debit cards.
  • Public transit
    Taxis can be booked for pick up or drop off via our friendly hotel concierge team. The Adelaide Railway Station is located a minute walk from InterContinental Adelaide, and the Tram stop is just in front of the Railway Station. The free City Connector bus is an easy way of navigating around Adelaide, look out for bus 98c or 98A.

                                        wouldn't bother a 3rd time. Have done the high coffee once before, very special and they really tried to emphasise the occasion. This time we were redirected about the building twice, even though we went to the correct location to start with. Think the IC is a bit bored with it now, but the food and drinks are still a highlight. The fencing and building works outside don't help the ambience, but hopefully that is temporary.

                                        We enjoyed our high coffee and the service was very good and very friendly staff. The food was great and plenty of it.

                                        Thouroughly dissapointed from the non greeting at the start to the food descriptions on the menu that were substituted for other ingredients . To the table setting eg old warn tables and more . I travel quiet often and would expect better service/food in a hotel of this standard . All in all a very lack luster afternoon .

                                        Loved the food; customer service from the staff was 10/10 - she was well spoken, well mannered and well presented. Will definitely go back again and will recommend to others. We had the Coffee High Tea and started at 2.30pm - Delicious. Was so full I even went without dinner that night. Coffee choices were great; special requests were seen to without any fuss (and were very much appreciated)

                                        Quality, variety and sensible serving size of food were highlights The only hiccup was the waffle- harder than a biscuit- otherwise a 10/10 for food. Attentive without intrusive service. A menu on the table would have helped us follow things a bit more.
