Everything about The Authentique is A+ ! The service was so friendly and everything we ate was subtle but delicious! It's such an intimate place that it's perfect for date night, My husband lived in France and he thought the wine selection was excellent as well. We will certainly go again and again......

What a delightful place and experience! If I lived nearby I’d be a regular. Tiny spot, very snug, but a fabulous wine list and yummy bites. Friendly staff, appropriate low-volume live music, so nice!

This was our first visit and we LOVED it. While you’d never know from the outside, inside has the coolest vibe and ambiance. The service was incredible with our server (who I think might be a co-owner) spoke French and had an EXTENSIVE knowledge of everything he was serving. It was inviting and cozy and we didn’t feel like idiots being newbies to French wines. Highly recommend.

I had been wanting to come here for a while and it was worth the hype. Every taste we had in our wine flights was something special. We also sampled a French whiskey that was wonderful and very different from the whiskeys I typically drink. The goat cheese salad was amazing and fresh bread, butters, and cheeses were incredible. The owners and staff were also very welcoming and attentive. Adorable atmosphere and I felt like I was on a European vacation. We spent almost three hours there and it was hard to leave!

Authentique serves a limited but very tasty menu. The focus is the French wine – available by the glass or a bottle, but perhaps better by choosing one of the several different flights offered by the restaurant, each offering four different wines from the flight you select – with the flights ranging from lightest white to boldest red. For dining, you are offered choices of charcuterie, cheeses, crêpes, beef tartare (unbelievably good) and wonderfully delightful desserts. The restaurant is small, comfortable, dimly but sufficiently lit, and softly filled by the music of a jazz duo (upright bass and alto sax) in the back of the room that sets the mood, but never interferes with conversation. This was my second visit, and after two days of Thanksgiving gorging amongst the family crowd, these were the perfect small bites with a glass of wine and quiet conversation that I needed. The two owners and their small staff are delightful, and offer outstanding service at a reasonable price for the quality of what is served. I strongly recommend that any lover of a good glass of wine try this small but excellent café.

A great place with a comfortable atmosphere. It felt very private, but fun and alive at the same time. The wine was amazing and everything that my wife and I had to eat was great. Strongly recommend The Athentique to anyone looking for good wine and food!

Our server was excellent and spoke impeccable French. He was very attentive. The food was delicious! We loved the meat charcuterie board and wine flights. The ambience is that of a French cafe in Paris. Who knew it was in this space on Main Street and what delights were inside!
