The Balfour Kitchen is an intimate neighbourhood restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner. Guests are invited to dine inside or enjoy the alfresco experience of a classic Queenslander wrap-around verandah and intimate courtyard shaded by Frangipani trees. A private dining room is also available for business lunches or celebration dinners for up to 18 people. A modern Australian menu with a European flair, The Balfour Kitchen is a hidden gem delivering a unique dining experience.

Visited for our Christmas brunch and we really enjoyed the food and service. I would recommend asking for a table on the balcony, it's a much nicer outlook. We were originally seated inside and luckily there was a table outside they were able to move us to. We also had dietary requirements at our table and the staff were more than happy to cater to them.

Dined for brunch for my husband's birthday and we were amazed at the food - it was all delicious and I especially loved the gluten free options. My favourite hard to pick between the big breakfast and french toast with caramel and chocolate sauce! Hubby said the Bloody Mary was the best he had ever tasted. Service was friendly and efficient, and the coffee was good too. Will be back!

First time at Balfour Kitchen and we got what was essentially a degustation menu and then ordered a few extras. The food was exquisite. Such creative and innovative flavours and beautifully presented. Staff were knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating and friendly. Definitely going back. Would strongly recommend.
