Located in the heart of the city The Bank on Collins is the perfect location for lunch, dinner or after work drinks. Appealing to the corporate community The Bank offers a modern Australian pub menu with an express lunch option for those on the go.

This iconic Melbourne building was built in 1876 from New Zealand Omaru stone with ornate metal balustrades. Originally home to The Bank of Australasia the site is now heritage listed with the Australian Heritage Commission and the National Trust of Australia.
Now, the upstairs of the building is home to the Treasury on Collins accommodation facilities.

The Bank on Collins is also suitable for corporate gatherings, celebrations and weddings. The floor plan is versatile to accommodate any style of event, catering up to 300 people for a cocktail party.

We are located a short 5 minute walk from Flinders Street Train Station. Tram numbers 11, 48, 109 and 1 all go down Collins Street, and stop just nearby.

One of the dishes were cold and had to be sent back, we didn’t have time to wait for another as were going to the theatre. Given a free drink meal taken off the bill but left hungry

Way understaffed and the few who were working seemed to be inexperienced. Food was good value and tasty. Setting is amazing although hard to build ambience is such a voluminous space.

Usually more pleasant but not today. Meal could have been more enjoyable without the added distraction of fruit flies flying all over our table area or landing on our food. I ended up with several insect bites.

Beautiful old building. Open ceiling leads to a lot of background noise. Good food, which is reasonable priced for standard and quality. Would go back for lunch.

our experience was underhwelming to say the least... 15 mins sat down before anyone came to take our order and a 40 min wait on drinks plus another 10 for food... very dissapointing. that meant to be quick lunch .... but that was not .. thanks Again

Ordered the express lunch as it was during my lunch break. Seated straight away in a lovely corner by the window. Staff were friendly & efficient. Order taken & food delivered within 10 mins. Food was delicious & definitely good value for money. Would thoroughly recommend.

We were forgotten about most of the evening. Waited 20 minutes to be told to pay on the way out. I visited 1 year ago and the experience this year was a significant disappointment. Service was subpar and the food was average. I recalled the menu last to be much more elevated.

Everything was delicious, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Great venue, and it's so spacious that even if it's busy it's still quiet. One small hiccup was they forgot our entrée and didn't bring it out til later, but other than that the staff were great and friendly. 9/10. A bit expensive for us, but worth it.
