Set in the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC, The Bazaar is the culmination of a 30-year dream for Chef José Andrés. Drawing inspiration from this iconic location, which first opened in 1899 and served as DC’s General Post Office until 1914, The Bazaar is a multi-level destination reinvented with avant-garde and Americana-inspired decor.

    overpriced and underwhelming food. the $24 "taco" is a joke and should be removed from the menu. Drinks and ambience are great. The food menu needs a total revamp.

    The food is amazing.. the service was to be desired.. the waiter had no enthusiasm in serving or explaining the dishes... seems he wasn't interested to be there.. but the lady busgirl was amazing.. thank you Evelyn for elevating what Ronny couldn't do.. you deserve the tip we left not him. A waiter tapping on his pen as if we are wasting his time, and other times with his hands in pockets shouldn't be in a restaurant like The Bazar, really ruined our experience

    Overall, this experience was just ok. They were out of dry ice to make one of the drinks on the menu, they were out of mussels and the burger was comprised of two ordinary beef patties similar to what you get at Checkers vs. one large patty. The other items we ordered were very good but overall the experience was just ok.

    Recommended by a friend. Food was great. We’d the octopus, patata bravas, lobster roll and cheese peppers. Get the bravas and lobster roll is so good it’s not for sharing! Couldn’t fault the staff. Only thing was that you’re pretty much eating in a lobby of a hotel. When going to pay, if using a card, you’ve to get up and go over to the till. In this day and age, you’d expect a mobile card reader could be used and available for payment at the table. Get the margarita!
