Escape to The Beach Grill at The Dream Hotel, the outdoor-indoor eatery located at Dream Downtown hotel in Meatpacking District, New York.

The Beach at The Dream Hotel offers re-imagined beach club fare with Pacific island influences and large-format cocktails complimented by décor elements such as a retractable weatherized pergola and lush greenery.

The Beach’s culinary menu will be geared towards group sharing and will feature items such as: The Beach Burger, Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries, and Taco options courtesy of Executive Chef Christopher D’Amico.

My waiter and waitress failed to introduce themselves and handed me my menu with a big yawn and then left. They were very attentive to the only other table there, instead of my friends and I. Also you guys should place the steak tacos under appetizers because that’s what they were. Save your money and go somewhere else!

The food suggestions did not pan out. The manager Chris got upset when the food was sent back; didn’t appreciate the approach with asking me about the food sent back when there was indeed more food on the table that I did appreciate!!

The Beach at Dream Downtown is a hidden gem in Chelsea. I needed some help to find the space inside the Dream hotel. But once I got there, I had a fantastic experience. The outdoor seating is right next to the pool, and I had the entire space to myself. The chopped salad, fish tacos and chocolate cake were all delicious. My server Rhoda was awesome and the prices were actually quite reasonable. A great place for lunch on a hot summer day!

Drinks were watered down - more of a mocktail than cocktail. They looks good though - presentation wise. Appetizer (hummus + veggies) was mediocre to say the least - the vegetables were withered. To offset the "sad looking vegetables" - the manager took $2.00 off the bill - what a joke! The ambiance was great.

This has the worst experience I had at the dream beach which has always been my favorite place to in the summer the service was poor our server did not ask not once ask if we needed anything is everything ok we never received the calamari that we ordered then it felt like our table was the drop off because they drop off another tables drinks 🍹 to then pick up 6 minutes later to give to the other was our table the kitchen where food and beverage where drop off that is ridiculous and unsanitary we are still in a pandemic for god sakes this use to be my favorite place but this experience spoke volumes i literally spent my summers at dream beach and to be treated like this is ridiculous never again

Service was dreadful. After the expense of a day pass for the pool. We lost almost half our time waiting for the restaurant service,

They took our reservation and on arrival we were told their opening was delayed and we were left in a bind on a Saturday night.
