Those who were missing the creative culinary creations of Matt Hutchins, former co-owner and original executive chef of The Hop, can order from his carefully crafted menu once again. His dishes delighted critics from the neighborhood to The New York Times, while his commitment to feeding the cravings of community strengthened his relationship with the people of Beacon: "I love to play with food, but more importantly I love how it can bring people together," he says.

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. First, we were early, 7 pm, and they were out of over half the menu. The service was the worst I have ever had. I had to have a temper tantrum to get anything like bread or a second drink. Food however was not bad, not great.

Alla and her amazing staff accommodated us at the last second for a very special occasion...and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The ambiance of the bar, vibe of the room, and chemistry among the staff created a perfect backdrop for a birthday weekend. Our only regret is that it took us so long to get to Beacon! Thanks to all who made our weekend getaway at The Beacon Hotel a perfect one. We'll be back, no doubt...😉

This is the absolute first time I ever walked out of a restaurant and refused to pay. There was seriously something wrong with our waitress, she had no idea about the 6 items on the menu, coffee came out cold, no spoon even when asked, they brought out wrong orders TWO times. The second time the tomatoes in my salad still had the price stickers on them.... So my tomatoes were not washed, clearly. Obviously they are in the midst of some staffing changes, but with all the amazing restaurants on Main street, why ever go here!? A complete embarrassment for any owner.

It's very different but very delicious. Wasn't sure about what I ordered but everything,even the burger was yummy. I had the black eye pea special. Great teas and drinks.

We have been there for brunch twice. The food experience is really fantastic and the ambiance is very pleasant. Service needs some improvement. A bit more engaged with clients... Also, please more coffee choices!!

We had a nice casual dinner here. I opted for a burger and a glass of wine! The service was great as well as having nice ambience.

Delicious Easter brunch! It would be great to see some more options on the brunch menu though, maybe some appetizers and dessert.
